Noise Regulations

A new PPE Directive has been adopted by the European Council and has been active since April 2018. The new regulation has moved Hearing Protection from Category II to Category III.  This means companies and their health and safety officers from April 2018 must make sure the hearing protection products that are used by their employees comply with the PPE Regulation 2016/425.

Products manufactured by Mercury Worksafe Limited, which are marketed as PPE, are produced in conformity with EN 352-2:2002 and with the EU Regulation 2016/425.
